Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Kuala Lumpur is located in the thriving business and financial district Golden Triangle neighbourhood. The Hotel is part of a 65-storey mixed-use tower that will include 242 Four Seasons Private Residences, 27 serviced apartments, a 209-key Four Seasons Hotel and a six- floor of 250,000 square foot luxury retail podium, collectively known as Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur.

Storekeeper

The Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Storekeeper.

The candidate must ensure all policies, rules, internal controls and procedures and safeguards as they relate to the Purchasing, Receiving and Store Department are complied with. Responsible for all Receiving and Store duties and functions. Ensure that all non-food and beverage deliveries coincide with an approved purchase order. All deliveries without purchase orders must be investigated and mostly rejected.

Inspect the physical condition, check quality and count or measure the quantity and weight of all items or supplies at the time they are received and before they are placed in storage. Inspect food quality at receiving. Anything questionable must be approved by the Executive Chef or his delegate or Director of Purchasing.

Inspect and accept delivery of engineering, retail, spa and flowers and other specialty items related to hotel and contact originating department for verification and inspection of goods. Ensure all deliveries are received at the designated receiving area only. Ensure all invoices and/or packing slips are stamped with the appropriate receiving stamp upon delivery.

Update electronic Purchase Order System and post all invoices into computerized Inventory system and/or Accounts Payable system. Check all postings against Edit Report prior to generating the Daily Receiving Report. Inform the Director of Purchasing in the event of any returns, shortages, or no show deliveries immediately.

Conduct self in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of Four Seasons Hotels. Perform any additional duties as assigned. The ability to maintain a clean, neat and organized work area.

The ability to work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.

Candidates must have a firm knowledge of hotel operations and have previous experience in purchasing store. Must be able to speak Bahasa Malaysia as well as being fluent in English. Must have the right to work in Malaysia.
