Job Description

Responsibilities & Authorities:

1)

Inventory Management:



a) Maintain accurate records of all inventory items, including parts, tools, and materials.

b) Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted production and operations.

c) Perform regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and inventory records.

2)

Receiving and Inspection:



a) Receive incoming shipments of parts and materials, checking for accuracy and quality. Verifying merchandise deliveries against purchase orders.

b) Inspect goods for damage and ensure they meet company specifications.

c) Coordinate with suppliers and address any issues related to deliveries.

3)

Storage and Organization:



a) Properly store inventory items in designated areas, following safety and organization protocols.

b) Ensure that storage areas are clean, organized, and accessible.

c) Implement and follow procedures for the proper handling and storage of hazardous materials.

4)

Distribution and Dispatch:



a) Prepare and package parts and materials for dispatch to production or maintenance teams.

b) Coordinate with production departments to fulfill orders and manage inventory requirements.

c) Track and record all outgoing shipments to maintain accurate inventory records.

5)

Record Keeping and Reporting:



a) Maintain detailed and accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns.

b) Ensure store requisition forms are signed by the person collecting the goods and accurately enter inventory data.

c) Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and any issues encountered.

d) Use inventory management software to track and report inventory data.

6)

Compliance and Safety:



a) Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.

b) Conduct regular safety checks and training for inventory handling procedures.

c) Address and resolve any safety concerns related to the storage and handling of materials.

d) Help unload delivery trucks and store inventory properly.

Education & Experience (Preferred):

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management or logistics is a plus. Proven experience as a storekeeper, warehouse clerk, or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Skills & Knowledge (Required or To Be Provided if do not possess):

Familiarity with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Operate a forklift as needed. Must be able to perform physical activities including lifting (up to 25 kg unassisted), bending, standing, climbing, and walking on a consistent basis. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work overtime as needed. Strong work ethic with a proactive approach to tasks.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
