Offering global integrated design, prototyping, NPI, manufacturing and supply chain solutions. Industry: Manufacturing Engineering Location: Bangi (need own transport) Headcount: 1 Tenure: Permanent Remuneration: Attractive Basic + Transport allowance Overview: Strategic Buyer Responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services in a strategic and forward thinking manner, with the goal of achieving long term cost savings and improving supplier performance Their role involves developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with the company\'s overall business goals and objectives Role and responsibilities Responsible for entire purchasing process activities inclusive of supply chain tasks, sourcing for suppliers, RFQ, pricing negotiation, delivery reschedule, delivery arrangement and quality evaluation. Work closely with supply chain planning and suppliers to ensure on time delivery of materials in order to meet production schedule. Participate in evaluation and selection of new supplier process. Handle inventory control and management. Involve in supporting Management Report. Involve in Process improvement. Qualification Diploma or Bachelor\'s Degree in any field At least 2 year(s) of working experience in Purchasing/ Supply Chain/ Procurement from manufacturing environment Working experience in purchasing and sourcing OEM/commercial part materials, standard components from oversea suppliers Ability to interpret basic engineering drawing is preferred Proficient in using MS Office and knowledge in SAP system If you are interested in the position, kindly apply directly online by clicking on the \'Apply\' button.
