For more information, visit .Strategic Sourcing Principal Analyst for Post Fab commodity is an individual contributor role newly created to support business growth and will be responsible for working with business units/operations team to grow the business through competitive offerings. This role is a hybrid work mode and will be based in Penang, Malaysia.Key responsibilities include the followings:Understand business requirements and market dynamics of global supply environmentMaintain collaborative business relationships with stakeholdersSupport Business Units on new business products technology developmentTravel as required to support all new business opportunities (10%) and business meetingsDevelop and drive commodity sourcing strategies with alignments from key stakeholdersInitiates, analyze and plan annual cost reduction activitiesReview new RFQ Q cost and drives negotiations as required to help our customers winNegotiate service contracts, consignment agreements, scope of work and any other contracts required under his/her commoditiesDevelop, implement and communicate company policies and sourcing proceduresReview and approve purchase orders for completeness and compliance with company requirementsEnsure 100% compliance to GlobalFoundries SOPWork on other projects and/or assignments as neededSupport regular business units and operations global team meetingsKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesCandidates with below aptitudes will excel in this job scope with exciting career progression opportunities:Education bachelors degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related fieldMin 3 years of working experience in sourcing/commodity management, contract negotiations, supplier relationship management, business strategy, contract manufacturing / outsourcing, and continuous process improvementPrior work experience in semiconductor assembly and test environment is bonusExperienced working in a global teamHighly PositiveGood negotiation skillsCompetence in data analysis, Excel and PowerPoint skillsFlexibility to attend night calls as business requiredAble to travel at short noticeGlobalFoundries is an equal opportunity employer, cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
