You will be working directly with a other senior team members to carry out duties in accordance with company procedures and implement prescribed systems of work. In addition, you will be responsible for the preparation of design and you will become aware of commercial matters including agreed fees/scope of services/program. Together with other Seniors, you will attend design team/site meetings. The Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for structural design and detailing aspect for projects from concept design, detailed design to handover.

• \xe2\x80\x8b\xe2\x80\x8b\xe2\x80\x8bProficient in structural element design and good understanding of structural system for buildings design
• Ability to understand Vertical & Lateral Support System, and its interplay between the two.
• Ability to carry out design of foundation and substructures
• Knowledge on the structural analysis/design software ie RAPT/PROKON/SAFE/ETABS/TEKLA STRUCTURAL DESIGNER will be beneficial.
• Understand the requirements of UBBL, local authority and external department (AIS, IWK, etc) requirements will be beneficial.
• Ability to understand the requirements of other disciplines such as Architectural, Civil, M&E, landscape & other building disciplines for co-ordination purposes.
• Responsible for meetings with clients, technical teams from other disciplines.
• Responsible for drawings production, working closely with drafters/designers.
• Knowledge on the BIM (REVIT) process will be an advantage

Here\'s What You\'ll Need:

• A Bachelor\'s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, with sound knowledge of professional and international standards
• Working towards obtaining Chartered Engineering (PE)
• Ambitious and self motivated and ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of staff and clients (written and verbal
• Adopting an adaptive mindset and using strategic and critical thinking to approach problems in a holistic way
• A dedicated team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, adopting a proactive approach
