As a Structural Engineer, you will provide consulting engineering services to clients in Malaysia's buildings and structures sector. You will be responsible for structural design on major projects, including producing detailed drawings and reports that meet structural specifications. You will also contribute to small and medium-sized projects and play an integral role in larger project teams, ensuring timely delivery, cost management, and quality outcomes. This role is based in our Johor Bahru office.
The Opportunity

• Lead hands-on structural design for a range of projects, including calculations and detailed analysis.
• Prepare and review structural drawings, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
• Collaborate in BIM coordination and assist in implementing the project's BIM execution plan.
• Work closely with structural technicians to produce Revit models, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Manage project correspondence, reports, and client relations, maintaining clear communication and ensuring project success.

Is this role right for you?

• A Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering for building or data center projects.
• Proven track record in a diverse range of projects, including low and high-rise PPVC, pre-stressed, and timber structures.
• Proficiency in Revit, Rhino/Grasshopper, and programming skills, with strong design and engineering expertise.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills, with a keen ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
• A proactive, team-oriented approach with a desire to take on new challenges and excel in a dynamic environment.
