Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Handle typical and small to medium sized projects comprising building, infrastructure, and related to structure components. Prepare feasibility study and design brief. Prepare sketch drawings with sufficient details to enable draftsperson to produce satisfactory detailed drawings as required for tender, construction or other purposes. Prepare tender document comprising drawings and specifications. Contract administration including review and comment on the contractor's submission of method statements, materials, equipment, inspection, testing procedures and test results. Prepare Progress Payment Certificates if relevant to scope. Address variations and resolve contractual disputes with guidance by superior. Prepare cost estimates if relevant to scope. Attend meetings and coordinate with all other internal and external design team members. Liaise with relevant authorities for submission and approval of all drawings and documents. Carry out site supervision as necessary to ensure works are installed in accordance with contract documentation and good engineering practice.

Academic Qualifications:

Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering recognized by Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). Registered with BEM as a Graduate Engineer.

Technical Experience:

Certified Autodesk Revit user. Familiar with STAADPRO, TEKLA and/or PROTA. Familiar with ETABS, SAFE or SAP 2000.

Requirements:

Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in consultancy environment. Experience in Prestressed Concrete. Background in steel structures, construction, and infrastructure. Strong presentation and communication skills. Able to lead independently.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
