Job Description

Planning, coordinating, investigating, troubleshooting, rectifying and maintaining the ship's electrical & electronic equipment/system in good working order.

Provide the technical support and maintenance services; make sure the all electrical & electronic equipment functioning without safety hazard and minimize the equipment failure occurred.

Responsibilities:

To attend, investigate, troubleshooting, analysis, repair, and test the Electrical & Electronics equipment/instrument due to faulty. To be return the essential Electrical & Electronics equipment/instrument working normal and optimum operation To inspect, plan, renew and supervise the installation and commissioning works for new Electrical/Electronic replacement equipment. Ensure the new equipment meet and compliance of marine requirement To provide operational and maintenance training of Electrical & Electronics equipment to ship staffs regularly To consult and provide technical support to ship staffs to immediate rectification for Electrical & Electronics equipment due failure To monitoring and ensure the ship's electrician/ engineer perform the maintenance works on Electrical & Electronics equipment accordance the company's PMS plan or maker's recommendation To consult the service department on technical specification related Electrical & Electronics equipment new or spare parts purchase. To assist and consult the vessel technical superintendent on preparation the vessel docking repair specification related to Electrical & Electronics equipment/system

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Microelectronics & Physics 4 years of working experience in the shipyard as electrical engineer 6 years of working experience in ship management company as electrical superintendent Experience in maritime related industry or oil and gas industry will be an added advantage Experienced in Dry Docking & Repairs and

Chemical Tanker

will be an added advantage

Strong technical & supervisory skills Problem solving skills Can work well under pressure Can work out of office in case needed Able to demonstrate marine engineering and ship repair knowledge Understanding of ISM, ISPS, Flag state authority and other statutory latest requirements
