Job Responsibilities:

xc2xb7 Oversee full sets of accounts for multiple clients in various industries.

xc2xb7 Prepare accounts on a timely basis for weekly, month-end, and financial year-end closings, along with aging reports and listings (if required)

xc2xb7 Review and ensure the accuracy of accounting reports and deliverables prepared by junior staff, when necessary.

xc2xb7 Support the management in planning efforts and supervise junior staff to maintain efficiency.

xc2xb7 Independently manage accounting and management reports, ensuring deadlines are met with minimal supervision.

xc2xb7 Submit accounting reports and deliverables within agreed timelines.

xc2xb7 Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, monitor unusual items, investigate discrepancies, and manage movements.

xc2xb7 Ensure client deliverables meet quality and timing expectations.

xc2xb7 Resolve queries from stakeholders and ensure action points are addressed.

xc2xb7 Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.

xc2xb7 Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities on financial and tax matters.

xc2xb7 Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

xc2xb7 Provide guidance and training to junior team members on accounting principles, processes, and software.

xc2xb7 Maintain strong client relationships and serve as the main point of contact for accounting-related queries.

xc2xb7 Handle additional ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Specific Requirements:

xc2xb7 Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

xc2xb7 Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.

xc2xb7 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL system is an added advantage

xc2xb7 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

xc2xb7 Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

xc2xb7 Effective communication and leadership skills to guide and mentor junior staff.

xc2xb7 Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

xc2xb7 Experience in an outsourced accounting firm is an added advantage.
