JOB PURPOSE
Manage Healthcare Waste Management Services (HWMS) and Reduce, Reuse & Recycle (3R) for proper utilization of resources (consumables, equipment and manpower) and ensuring operations activities are being conducted at hospital in accordance with agreed schedules and requirements as per Concession Agreement (CA) and Department of Environment (DOE) regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Comply with Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) regulation at work place. Support company programmes and activities such as related to HSSE, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and DOE.
  • Demonstrate people management by ensuring staffs are qualified in performing their duties (Identify key area of improvement - Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Concession Agreement (CA), Project Operating Guidelines (POG) and Infection Control Policy) as per requirement in CA.
  • Monitor cleaning and maintenance of HWMS and 3R stores, equipment, and devices (washing and sanitize) are performed as per SOP and agreed schedule in HSIP.
  • Manage consumables to ensure adequate and optimisation of usage as per HSIP.
  • Verify and ensure all SOP forms are filled correctly and accurately for submission to helpdesk in order that all information is captured and updated in Asset and Services Information System (ASIS). Update regularly HWMS data in Electronic Schedule Waste Information System (e-SWIS).
  • Maintain good rapport with internal and external customer such as attending to all inquiries and complaint from the hospital authorities and communicate appropriately to resolve any HWMS and 3R issues.
  • Support superior in HWMS & 3R management including prepare HSIP, perform on job training to all workers to develop competencies and user training for hospital staffs.
  • Participate in Customer's Quality Improvement Programs such as Hospital Accreditation by Malaysian Accreditation for Quality in Health (MSQH) and Ekosistem Kondusif Sektor Awam (EKSA) to support customer's target in improving quality and performance.

  • Minimum 4 years of working experience
