Job Requirements

1. Minimum Diploma / Degree in Science / Polymer Science Technology or equivalent

2. At least 2 years of working experience in related field

3. Knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS, ISO 45001 OSHMS & ISO 14001 EMS

4. Ability to think analytically and critically.

5. Able to work with different level of personnel.

Job Responsibilities

1. To ensure lab is operated in accordance to procedure stipulated in Kossan ISO manual.

2. To ensure testing, passing and control of defective compound is carried out in accordance to procedure stipulated in Kossan ISO manual.

3. To ensure testing equipment is well maintained, accurate and calibrated.

4. To conduct training to ensure lab operators are competent in their job.

5. To ensure compound testing specification is up to date.

6. To assist process engineer to update compound mixing specification.

7. To compile and monitor critical compound properties that can affect user section.

8. To participate in quality improvement project to improve compound mixing efficiency.

9. To participate in new compound development.

10. To carry out process study in order to create the SOP, WI/Work Procedure for new process and improvement project.

11. Troubleshoot on compound/process failure analyzation.

12. To ensure the activities carried out in lab and production area is comply to environmental, safety and health rules and regulations.

13. Any other duties given by Assistant Manager / Manager / Executive / Engineer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM2,400.00 per month
