Job Description

Job Purpose:

To ensure smooth daily operations of the restaurant floor by maintaining service standards, supervising staff, and ensuring excellent guest satisfaction. The Floor Supervisor acts as a link between management and service team, supporting in training, coordination, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the floor team to deliver professional, efficient, and courteous service. Ensure all guests receive a positive dining experience through attentive service and problem resolution. Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and readiness of the restaurant floor at all times. Support the Restaurant Manager in staff scheduling, briefing, and daily service planning. Conduct on-the-job training for service staff to uphold company standards. Monitor table turnover, reservations, and guest flow to optimise seating efficiency. Handle guest complaints promptly and professionally. Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and grooming standards. Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth communication and order accuracy. Perform end-of-day closing duties and prepare reports as required.

Requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service orientation with attention to detail. Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays. Professional appearance and positive attitude.
