Job Description

An F&B Supervisor in a Halal restaurant oversees the daily operations of food and beverage service, ensuring smooth coordination between kitchen and service teams while upholding Halal standards.This role is essential in maintaining food quality, guest satisfaction and compliance with Halal dietary laws.

Key Task:

1. Supervise front-of-house operations to ensure efficient and courteous service.

2. Prevent cross-contamination and maintain proper documentation..

3. Ensure all ingredients and processes meet JAKIM Halal certification standards.

4. Train, schedule and monitor team performance.

5. Address guest feedback and resolve service issues.

6. Monitor stock levels and ensure Halal-certified sourcing.

7. Enforce hygiene, sanitation and food safety protocols.

8. Assist in daily sales tracking, cost control and performance reporting.

9. Coordinate special events, promotions and seasonal campaigns.

At least 2-3 years in F&B as Captain or Supervisor roles.

Working experience

1. Experience managing Halal restaurant outlets.

2. Prior work in Halal-certified restaurants or multicultural environments.

3. Food safety & Halal certification knowledge.

Skills required

1. Understanding of Halal sourcing, handling and documentation.

2. Ability to guide and motivate service teams.

3. Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.

4. Familiarity with SOPs, service flow and quality control

5. Basic knowledge of budgeting, cost control and sales tracking.

6. POS systems, inventory software and reporting
