Key ResponsibilitiesSales & KPI Performance
Support the Store Manager in achieving store sales targets by improving the following KPIs:
ATV (Average Transaction Value):
Encourage customers to add complementary items (e.g., jackets with accessories) to increase basket value.
UPT (Units Per Transaction):
Promote multi-item purchases through outfit building and product suggestions.
CR (Conversion Rate):
Improve conversion by actively engaging every customer, understanding their needs, and recommending the right products.
Sales LFL (Like-for-Like Sales):
Help grow sales compared to the same period last year through consistent customer service, strong selling behaviors, and repeat business.
Lead by example on the sales floor to demonstrate effective selling techniques.
Track daily results and provide simple feedback to the team to improve performance.
Leadership & Team Support
Act as
Second PIC
, taking charge of the store in the Store Manager's absence
Coach and motivate sales associates to achieve individual and store KPIs
Support onboarding and training of new team members
Create a positive, high-energy, customer-focused environment
Customer Experience
Ensure every customer receives a friendly, helpful, and professional experience
Handle customer issues or complaints calmly and effectively
Maintain Columbia's brand standards on service and presentation
Operations & Store Standards
Assist with opening and closing procedures
Support stock management, replenishment, and visual merchandising
Follow company policies, cash handling, and loss prevention procedures
Ensure the store is clean, safe, and well-organized at all times
Product & Brand Knowledge
Maintain strong knowledge of Columbia products and technologies
Confidently explain product features and benefits to customers
Share product knowledge with the team to support selling confidence
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
1-3 years of retail experience; key-holder or supervisory experience preferred
Basic understanding of retail sales KPIs (ATV, CR, UPT, LFL) or willingness to learn
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
