Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail oriented SQE to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring wafers production ramp works successfully without any major quality events at customer and Backend Process.

Key Responsibilities:

Define unique quality monitoring KPI and schedule monthly meeting with supplier and Wolfspeed cross functional team for KPI review.

Work closely with Wolfspeed NPI team and Wolfspeed operation team to ensure correct transition flow of new process or product from NPI stage to operations with all quality gaps addressed.

Chair the Process Change Review Board and ensure document and actual conditions matches all the time.

Establish with supplier the special characteristics associated to quality risk into control plan and PFMEA.

Work closely with supplier and Wolfspeed cross functional team on ensure minimum awaiting queue time on dispositions of any WIP at supplier hold for quality issues.

Be first to address any customer quality issues or internal supplier quality issues by driving root cause and CAPA using 3X5 Why Why Analysis and 8D format.

Lead customer audits with suppliers from preparations stage until finding items closures.

Establish quality monitoring checklist, SPC and define layered process audit schedule with supplier.

Work closely with supplier and Wolfspeed cross functional team on establishing and monitoring inspections steps requirement within supplier including determine the correct sample size, method and yield and hold bouncers.

Work closely with Fab team on wafer incoming quality monitoring and closed loop timely feedback.

Support other Wolfspeed cross functional team on continuous process improvement activities which drives zero defects and hand free automations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Quality Management) or equivalent experience.

5 years minimum experience from semiconductor industry with preferable experience on Backend Process

Knowledge of quality management principles and standards, particularly IATF 16949 and VDA

Proven experience in conducting QMS audits and knowledge of audit methodologies.

Familiarity with change management principles and practices.

Demonstrated experience with hands on semiconductor packaging problem solving, driving. problems to root cause with effectively implemented CAPA.

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve process engineering issues.

Advanced knowledge of SPC and ship to control methods in a production environment.

High energy, self-motivated attitude with strong communication skills and an ability to interface effectively with different backgrounds and at every level of the organization.

Strong attention to detail while effectively managing time.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
