Lead Supplier Quality engineering for critical direct materials like lead-frames, ceramic, substrate, tape and reel materials, mold compound, wire, solder paste and etc.
Driving supplier quality performance, including new product development and product quality improvement.
Overseeing supplier quality team and establishing quality control objectives.
Drive standardization of processes across multiple WW factories SQE/IQA (Material Verification, Supplier Assessments, Qualification, etc.)
Monitor existing suppliers to ensure quality objectives are achieved.
Lead supplier qualification audits and follow-up with suppliers on corrective and prevention actions.
Partner with Global Commodity Managers in reducing cost of materials and components while maintaining a high sensitivity of quality
Develop processes to identify potential problems and improvements with design and new products specification
Drive and ensure Critical Direct Materials supplier with built-in quality from product development to mass production phases
Collaborate with manufacturing and R&D engineers to improve overall product quality by emphasizing defect prevention throughout the development process
Tracking, management and reporting for the assigned quality initiative programs
Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues that arise as quickly and efficiently as possible to prevent compromising quality and safety standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or related discipline
With 5-8 year\'s working experience in engineering, quality, supply chain or equivalent
Ability to travel independently in domestic and international markets
Candidate with IATF16949/VDA 6.3 and certified Lead Auditor is preferred but not required
Experience with PPAP/APQP/DFMEA/PFMEA/Control Plan and DFM/DFQ
Ability to read and interpret schematics & drawings
Strong time management / project management capabilities
Mastery of Six Sigma methodologies
Knowledge of Process Certification/Process Robustness
Solid analytic and articulation skills
Semiconductor Process/Manufacturing experience
