Role Summary

Responsible for managing supplier quality programs in compliance with regulatory, customer and environmental requirements or international standards. Ensures products from suppliers are in-compliance with requirements. Qualifies new suppliers or materials and resolves quality issues related to supply chain management.

Responsibilities

Qualifies new suppliers, external service providers or materials through series of inspections, verifications or audits. Review materials test reports from suppliers according to product and environmental requirements. Creates and updates documents related to supplier quality management and incoming inspection programs. Plans and performs regular audits to ensure suppliers continue to work in compliance with company and international standards. Reviews incoming quality inspection data and performs statistical analysis. Monitors and performs supplier quality performance appraisal on regular basis. Drives supplier corrective action process and improvement programs to reduce materials quality defect rates. Attends promptly and provides immediate support on all material quality issues to reduce impact to production and shipment schedule. Publishes regular reports on suppliers or material quality performances. Provides training or briefing to suppliers and QA team for regulatory/ quality requirements, quality incidents as and when necessary. Responsible to understand and comply to related Environmental Management System and Occupational Safety and Health Management System requirements. Cooperate with employer with regard to environmental, safety and health at workplace. Other tasks as assigned by superior.

Job Requirements / Qualification

Education level: Minimum Diploma or Bachelor degree in any field.

Year of experience: Preferably minimum 2 years working experience in manufacturing industry in QA roles.

Capability: Good analytical, planning, organizing and execution. Committed and able to handle adversity constructively. With sense of urgency and priority.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
