Supplier Performance and Recovery Specialist Supporting Celestica Senai, Johor. Direct alignment with Procurement Operations teams in Malaysia to support purchasing with Supplier Performance, development, and recovery. Detailed Description: Drives performance improvement at our most critical suppliers by identifying and resolving complex systemic problems. Responsibilities include validating that POs to support demand is accurate, measuring/improving supplier Line of Balances (LOB) and past dues (PD), verifying raw material and work in process positions, reviewing yield/quality performance, resolving capacity issues, identifying tooling gaps and needs, ensure the supplier has stable/accurate demand signals and improve supplier look ahead metrics. Ensures their assigned suppliers deliver holistic improvement and drive rapid functional issue resolution. Implement Supplier Recovery / Improvement / standard work used to develop suppliers to perform at World Class levels by improving process capabilities. Deploy Supplier Recovery / Development advanced tools, which may include any combination of assessments, training, quality improvements, delivery improvements, capacity improvement, lead-time reductions, Lean, Six Sigma, and/or cost savings. Interface with all levels of the organization, suppliers, and customers regarding supplier performance, improvement actions, and processes and be prepared to report at executive levels on plans and results. Create and manage the implementation of strategic projects, including project plans, overall tracking capability, and progress reporting within the team and up through leadership. Complete root cause analysis and recommend/implement corrective actions where projected results are below plan. Perform supplier performance analysis using SAP, Rapid Response, and other Celestica databases. Knowledge/Skills/Competencies: Good knowledge of an electronics manufacturing environment, materials and processes. Understanding and interpretation of traffic and customs rules and regulations. Knowledge of expert computer applications such as WORD, Excel, PowerPoint and multiple business applications. Good understanding of internal and external customer requirements. Good financial, analytical, and negotiation skills. Ability to identify and resolve high-complexity process/system problems using financial, analytical, and/or statistical models. Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight time deadlines. Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem-solve various tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with various internal and external customers. Engage in building and developing mutual relationships and partnerships. Typical Experience Five plus years of relevant experience Typical Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
