Key Responsibilities:

Conduct procurement and sourcing activities for all enquiry. Grow the company by creating new suppliers or vendors. Request from vendors or suppliers for discount on a consistent basis. Gather information on market demand, competition, and latest technologies. Manage inventory of materials and consumables to support production planning process Coordinate the delivery of purchased parts and consigned materials to the facility to support the production schedule Initiate corrective actions on supplier delivery issues Manage supplier transition of incoming materials Coordinate effectively with local logistics suppliers for consigned materials and local shipments Coordinate with shipping lanes for inbound and outbound freight Ensure compliance to all LMW requirements. Ensure all purchase is approved within mandated guidelines Process the purchase orders by liaising with suppliers or principals Sourcing locally and overseas for new goods not supplied by regular principals/suppliers Cost the goods purchased by incorporating freight and ensure that all costs incurred in operating dept are kept within control Develop and achieve yearly cost savings goals Undertake any duties as assigned from time to time Adherence to company QHSE Policy

Background & Experience:

Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain or procurement roles, preferably within the oil and gas industry. Skills: Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of building effective supplier relationships.
