supports the Supply Chain Department in analyzing procurement, inventory, and logistics data to improve cost efficiency, supplier performance, and operational flow. The role also contributes to long-term strategy planning by providing insights, process improvements, and reporting to management for better decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Analysis & Reporting
Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to purchasing, inventory, and logistics performance.
Prepare regular supply chain performance reports (lead time, cost, delivery accuracy, etc.) for management review.
Identify trends and variances that may impact cost, delivery, or production efficiency.
Develop dashboards and KPI tracking tools to support continuous improvement.
2. Strategic Supply Chain Planning
Support the Supply Chain Manager in developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize end-to-end supply chain operations.
Conduct cost-benefit and risk analysis for supplier, logistics, or sourcing decisions.
Assist in long-term capacity, material, and cost planning in line with business targets.
Benchmark supply chain practices with industry standards to identify improvement opportunities.
3. Supplier & Sourcing Performance
Monitor supplier delivery performance, cost competitiveness, and quality metrics.
Support supplier evaluation and improvement programs.
Assist in identifying and qualifying new suppliers to diversify sourcing and reduce supply risk.
Collaborate with Purchasing for price tracking, cost-down initiatives, and supplier negotiation support.
4. Inventory & Logistics Optimization
Analyze stock levels and turnover rates to recommend optimal inventory policies.
Monitor logistics efficiency (inbound and outbound) and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Support coordination with warehouse, logistics, and production teams to ensure smooth material flow.
5. Continuous Improvement & System Support
Participate in process improvement projects to enhance supply chain efficiency, visibility, and cost control.
Support the digitalization of supply chain data management using ERP or data analytics tools.
Develop SOPs and documentation related to planning, sourcing, and logistics processes.
6. Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with Production, Quality, Finance, and Sales teams to ensure supply chain alignment with business objectives.
Support internal reporting for management meetings and strategy reviews.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 2-4 years of experience
in supply chain, logistics analysis, or planning (preferably in a manufacturing setup).
Proficient in
Microsoft Excel
,
Power BI
, or similar analytical tools.
Experience using
ERP/MRP systems
(SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
Good communication and coordination skills across departments.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of handling multiple priorities.
