Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Finance Business Partner who will work directly with the Finance and Commercial Director and maintain a dotted-line reporting to the Commercial Manager. This role will act as a bridge between Finance, Operations, and Warehouse teams, ensuring smooth coordination and effective cost management. You will play a key role in overseeing costing processes, improving operational efficiency, and introducing initiatives that deliver long-term value to the business.

Main Responsibilities

Serve as the Supply Chain Business Partner/Controller for Interactive Promoworks (IP) and the Finance team, driving accurate financial execution and cost control. Partner in the upgrade and streamlining of the Warehouse Management System to strengthen operational control and visibility. Conduct reviews of service costing and pricing to ensure competitiveness and accuracy. Validate and authorize monthly IP billing for both customers and intercompany transactions, including approved project quotations. Oversee compliance with inventory SOPs, covering annual stock counts and regular cycle counts. Assess warehouse utilization, including stock coverage and slow-moving items, and recommend strategies to minimize inventory holding costs. Provide financial evaluations of new projects or investment opportunities, identifying key risks and potential benefits. Support the business through ad hoc tasks and assignments as needed.

Qualifications

Professional certification (CIMA/ACCA) or a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, or related discipline.

Experience & Skills

Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance or business partnering. Exposure to a logistics environment will be considered a strong advantage.
