Responsibilities
Prepare reports and updates as and when required.
Prepare and raise purchase orders and order schedules for goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quantity and quality.
Track the status of purchase orders.
Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications.
Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery or invoice issues.
Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects.
Arrange oversea and local shipment for materials and components to complete finished goods.
Act as an interface between suppliers and external forwarder on arranging shipment processes.
Liaising with delivery and warehouse teams to ensure goods are received on time.
Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal system.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and agreements.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
