So we\'re looking to team up with people who are wildly passionate about making an impact and be part of a dynamic team, in a workplace with no corporate BS (yes, you read that right!).The RoleYou will be part of the HQ Supply Chain Team and your main responsibilities would be, being directly responsible for the performance of the freight forwarder and last mile courier vendorsYou will be responsible for ensuring that the freight forwarder and last mile couriers meet/ exceed expectations, and comply with import/export requirements of the intended jurisdiction to fulfil orders to customers worldwide and distribute to retail stores in the region.Your daily tasks includes making freight cost comparison, booking and monitoring of shipments, to ensure timely and compliant delivery of orders to our distribution centres, customers and retail stores. Daily correspondence with suppliers and freight forwarders will be essential in this role.You should have/ be

Main Responsibilities

• Vendor Management: Conduct daily correspondence with freight forwarders and last mile courier vendors to coordinate shipments and resolve any issues.
• Freight Cost Calculation: Calculate freight costs and prepare cost estimates to support procurement strategies.
• Booking and Monitoring: Book shipments with vendors and monitor the status of deliveries to ensure on-time performance.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to identifying opportunities for process enhancements in transportation and logistics, using data-driven insights.
• Communication: Build positive relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate clear communication regarding logistics operations.
• KPI Tracking: Help track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate vendor effectiveness and service quality.
• Compliance Support: Assist in ensuring all shipping procedures adhere to company policies and government regulations.
• Project Participation: Engage in logistics projects aimed at improving customer experience and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is preferred
• 1 year of experience in freight management, logistics, or supply chain operations
• Basic understanding of transport operations and compliance regulations
• A good understanding of warehousing and transport operations
• Experience in HS (tariff) classification, customs valuation and country of origin determination. Good knowledge of import/ customs regulations, Free Trade Agreements, Rules of Origin, import duties and taxes, as well as international regulations
• Good knowledge of freight incoterms
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data tracking and analysis
• Good to have: Knowledge of SQL for data analysis and reporting
• Language Abilities: Proficiency in mandarin necessary to facilitate communication with Suppliers
