Job Scope & Duties

Responsible for all aspects of Purchasing such as order fulfillment, sourcing & negotiation, and development of new suppliers.
Plan and procure materials based on the forecasted production planning and ensure the materials are available to meet production build requirements.
Assist in conducting supplier analysis and facilitate early identification and timely resolution of problems, changes, disputes and claims.
To initiate improvements in the workflow/processes, making proper recommendations, follow-up and recommendations.
Monitor inventory levels and take appropriate action to maintain optimal level
Analyze data to identify opportunities for cost savings
Prepare shipping documents for shipment.
Place the booking with agent for import/export shipment.
Discuss with store personnel regarding delivery date of goods for export and incoming container trucking status.
Any ad hoc tasks assigned from the management.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in any field.
Pleasant personality with good negotiation skill and communication skill.
An active team player, able to work proactively and independently with minimum supervision.
Preferably with working experience in the manufacturing industry.
Good interpersonal skills and communication skills & Problem-Solving Skills.
