Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement & Vendor Management

Coordinate procurement of raw materials, packaging, spare parts, or finished goods. Evaluate vendor performance and maintain supplier relationships. Ensure timely purchase order creation, follow-ups, and delivery tracking. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and service levels when required.

2. Inventory & Planning

Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstock situations. Support demand forecasting and material planning. Conduct regular inventory reconciliations and maintain accurate records in ERP systems. Optimize inventory turnover and working capital.

3. Logistics & Distribution

Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with logistics partners. Track and manage freight, customs documentation, and transportation schedules. Ensure on-time deliveries to warehouses, distributors, or customers. Resolve logistics issues and minimize delays.

4. Data Management & Reporting

Maintain accurate supply chain data in ERP Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports: stock status, delivery performance, supplier SLA, etc. Analyze data to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with production, sales, warehouse, and finance teams. Align supply chain activities with business needs and customer demand. Support new product launches and process improvement initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field.

Experience

1-5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, warehousing, vendor management or planning Experience with ERP systems Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reporting). Knowledge of inventory management and forecasting tools. Understanding of import/export processes (if applicable).

Soft Skills

Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Analytical and problem-solving capability. Time management and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
