Our client is an established Japanese company specialised in food packaging solution.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Location: Pasir Gudang, Johor
  • Company Business Natural: Food Packaging Solution
  • To overseeing overall supply chain function, which includes procurement, material planning, warehouse management, and logistics.
  • Develop strategy for material sourcing and purchasing and work closely with the regional team to implement internal initiatives and group strategies.
  • Evaluate, select, and onboard new suppliers.
  • Develop cost reduction strategy to meet competitive costs and maximize margin for all purchases.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to meet the requirements of pricing, quantity, quality, and other commercial terms.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure meeting the requirements of demand and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare monthly reports that relate to procurement, warehouse, and inventory.
  • Ensure the work and documents of the team conform to ISO 9001.
  • Drive the team to meet the KPIs defined by management.
JOB REQUIREMENT
  • Preferably Degree with 5-8 years experience in supply chain, procurement and purchasing functions.
  • Experience with Custom, MITI, MIDA, LMW requirements.
  • Experience in ISO requirements.
  • Experience in SAP/ERP.
