Job Description

Our client is a consumer products firm. In order to support rapid and aggressive expansion, our client is looking for a talented and dynamic professional to join them as the Supply Chain Manager.

Job Responsibilities

• Spearhead and supervise supply chain operations encompassing import/export, customer services, 3PL management, and demand planning.
• Take full ownership of the demand planning process, working closely with the regional supply chain team and local sales team.
• Assume responsibility for logistics and customer order management, ensuring smooth operations.
• Proactively monitor key performance indicators within the supply chain and promptly address any problem areas, implementing additional processes as necessary to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Drive supply chain cost optimization while maintaining a consistent supply flow \xe2\x80\xa2 Foster strong collaboration with plant, operations, customer service, and sales management, fostering synergy and achieving collective goals.
• Direct and coordinate the recruitment, hiring, and training of the inside Supply Chain Department, while effectively managing and monitoring the Import & Logistics Executive.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 8 years\' experience in supply chain management within Malaysia, with a proven track record of at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in FMCG industry is an added advantage.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP and MS Office.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Extensive expertise in import/export processes, port import processes, 3rd party logistics management, demand planning, and customer services.
• Exceptional negotiation and communications skills.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 (QMS).
• Technically well verse with all aspects of production and the assembly and structure of an instant water heater.
• Good management of people & staff.
• Independent and ability to be \xe2\x80\x9chands-on\xe2\x80\x9d when necessary.
