Supply Chain Manager.

Our client, a well-established MNC in the manufacturing industry, is actively seeking an experienced Junior Manager in Supply Chain/Procurement to join their team. You are expected to manage the overall supply chain function, which includes strategy planning, performance management and management reporting.

Industry: Manufacturing/Production (Electrical Products)

Working Hour: Monday to Friday

Location: Gelang Patah, Johor Bahru

• Responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain function, which includes procurement, material planning, warehouse management, and logistics.
• Develop a strategy for material sourcing and purchasing and work closely with the regional team to implement internal initiatives and group strategies.
• Evaluate, select, and onboard new suppliers.
• Develop a cost reduction strategy to meet competitive costs and maximize margin for all purchases.
• Negotiate with suppliers to meet the requirements of pricing, quantity, quality, and other commercial terms.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure meeting the requirements of demand and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare monthly reports that relate to procurement, warehouse, and inventory.
• Ensure the work and documents of the team conform to ISO 9001.
• Drive the team to meet the KPIs defined by management.

Requirements:

• Min. 5 years of relevant working experience in supply chain/procurement/purchasing function or relevant.
• Min. Diploma education level or above.
• Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (Verbal/Written).
• Familiar with Customs, MITI, MIDA & LMW requirements is a plus.
• Familiar with SAP software is a plus.
• Willing to travel overseas for supplier visits (Occasionally/25%).
