Job Description

You will be accountable to lead, synergies and integrate end-to-end Supply Chain across cross functional stakeholders to establish an efficient Supply Chain to drive lower cost and reduce working capital requirements. The area of focus would include Commercial business partnering, Sales and Operation Planning, Replenishment / Inventory Management, 3PL management to support 6x business growth in Malaysia.

• Work closely with the commercial/finance leader of each market to gain a comprehensive understanding of their business requirements and support business growth.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for addressing supply chain serviceability issues, collaborating with the supply chain team, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and manufacturing to find suitable solutions.
• Lead efforts to ensure an adequate supply of goods, working closely with the commercial, demand and supply, and 3PL teams.
• Lead and oversee Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) initiatives, utilising both quantitative and qualitative analysis to optimise the cost and efficiency of the end-to-end supply chain, in alignment with the overall supply chain management strategy.
• Drive the forecasting and demand management process in accordance with SKU classification and demand planning guidelines for the assigned market (Malaysia).
• Collaborate with Research and Development, Sales and Marketing teams, and others as needed, to manage new product launches, handle ageing inventory, and rationalise long-tail SKUs.
• Establish procedures to facilitate information sharing, improving visibility and reducing lead time, variability, and disruptions throughout the supply chain.
• Cultivate strong and influential relationships with key internal and external partners from various functions.
• Take responsibility for achieving optimal inventory turnover for finished goods across the group, aiming to minimise working capital requirements and external warehousing costs.
• Implement measures to reduce inventory disposal and develop a system for efficient pallet rental management to minimise losses.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of 3PL providers, ensuring smooth operations and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet customer expectations.
• Manage a cost-effective and efficient transportation network.

• Minimum Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, and S&OP - Demand Planning
• Bring over 8 years of relevant experience across FMCG environment
• Display a strong passion for problem-solving, taking initiative to fix issues, and being courageous enough to lead change with expertise.
• Exhibit analytical, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Possess good business acumen to maximise the value of the supply chain and achieve business objectives.
• Demonstrate excellent leadership abilities and the capacity to work effectively in a diverse environment.
• Be a quick learner, able to grasp new concepts and information rapidly.
