Job Responsibilities:
Supplier Management
oDrives alignment of supplier selection to global supply strategy and the approved supplier list
oManages key supplier and outsource integration partner relationships, cost optimization, product transfers / launches
oDefines sourcing contracts / supply agreements and ensures appropriate contractual agreements are in place addressing flow down requirements, capacity, cost, and commercial requirements
oWorks with suppliers on improving Scorecards and KPIs
oEnsures adequate capacity exists in the supply chain for components of assigned products, coordinates forecasts, ensures end of life requirements are flowed down
oMaintain DDMRP (Demand Driven MRP) programs such as Kanban and safety stock replenishment contracts inclusive of analyzing and updating quantities, maintaining proper ERP system set up, keeping applicable contractual liabilities and amendments current, mitigating liability, resolving delivery discrepancies, providing forecasts to suppliers and ensuring suppliers are performing to contractual service levels
Supply Chain Project Management
oIdentifies or is assigned to lead continuous improvement opportunities across the global supply chain
oDrives process improvements and resolves complex supply chain issues (using methodology such as 8D report, etc.)
oEnsure NPI BOM items are purchased at lead time through, coordinating demand load with Business Units and Planning (MRP, Independent demand or Indirect Purchase Requisitions)
oProvides sourcing direction and coordinates RFQ packages with the support of Buyers and Global Supply Managers
oCoordinates PO tracking through Buyers
oECO analysis, approval, and coordination of implementation to the supply chain for new products
oEstablish plans for supply risks mitigation, eg. identify floor stocks, Safety stocks, VMI / Kanban , long lead time mitigation plans
oBenchmarks and drives cost reduction plans and actions with assigned suppliers
oDerives plans and methods for optimizing the costs associated with a products value chain
Job Requirements:
oMinimum 5 years' experience in supply chain, commodity management or NPI related function & 10 years operations experience preferred
oBachelor degree in business or Engineering. MBA preferred
oStrong understanding of contract manufacturing environment and management of global commodity strategies through a third-party provider
oProven record of managing and driving Continuous Process Improvement activities. Strong analytical skills, ability to identify root cause for action/resolution
oStrong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
oStrong leader, self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented, hands-on and results driven.
oGood knowledge of aspects of purchasing, supplier selection, cost analysis and negotiation, planning, master scheduling and program management
oWork independently in fast paced environment
oContract management, negotiation and implementation experience
oAbility to concisely communicate escalations, requirements and issues to suppliers, stakeholders, peers and upper management with clarity
oExperience working in ERP & PLM systems; SAP and Team Center preferred, Intermediate:
oWord processing/typing, presentation/PowerPoint/Power BI
