Job Description

• Activate and/or create shipment in TMS (TANGO)
• Update shipment arrival information in TMS (TANGO)
• Perform required interaction incl. document transfer with Import Customs Clearance Team or external customs broker - as applicable
• Receive Carrier\'s Arrival Notice
• Check shipment arrival at CFS (Container Freight Station) and confirm in TMS (TANGO)
• Request cargo release information, documents and freight invoice from Carrier - as applicable
• Perform required interaction incl. document transfer with Import Customs Clearance Team or external customs broker - as applicable
• Receive Original HBL from Consignee and confirm receipt in TMS (TANGO) - as applicable
• Check actual shipment arrival date with Carrier and confirm in TMS (TANGO) - as applicable
• Check shipment delivery status and confirm in TMS (TANGO) - as applicable
• Check empty container return to CY (Container Yard) and confirm in TMS (TANGO) - as applicable
• Ensure that Original MBL is surrendered to Carrier at origin or destination - as applicable
• Create exceptional and accessorial income reserves and cost accruals in TMS (TANGO)
• Check container arrival at CY (Container Yard) and confirm in TMS (TANGO)
• Perform required interaction with CY (Container Yard) and port authorities - as applicable
• Provide delivery information to Hinterland Transportation Team (if merchant\'s haulage) and/or to Carrier and/or to 3rd party NVO (if Carrier\'s haulage) -
• Manage and resolve invoicing disputes with vendors
• Request update from/with MDM Team (Master Data Management) as applicable
• Receive and/or upload relevant Vendor documents to digital archive (ODM) - as applicable
• Send \'Shipping Advice\' and \'Arrival Notice\' to Consignee (Sender shown as "Customer Management")
• Timely and accurate completion of activities in TMS (TANGO)
• Ensure compliance with Customer specific KPI\'s - as applicable
• Provide self-pickup instructions to Consignee - as applicable (Sender shown as "Customer Management")
• Send delivery details to Consignee - as applicable (Sender shown as "Customer Management")
• Provide shipment details (manifest) to customs authorities - as applicable
• Provide "Change Advice" to Consignee - as applicable
• Continuously monitor container pickup status at CY (Container Yard)
• Continuously provide demurrage & detention details to Import Customer Management Team
• Confirm self-pickup details in TMS (TANGO) - as applicable
