Development and Support (DevOps) of Project \xe2\x80\x9cNew Planning Landscape\xe2\x80\x9d, Integration & Interfaces Squad

• Understand and challenge the functional requirements and implement them in SAP environments as well as cloud-based environments.
• Working in an agile way within a virtual global team

Main Task

• Understand the current implementation of SCM developments within SAP APO and SAP ERP.
• Shape BASF\'s future planning landscape by moving existing planning processes into cloud-based planning tools by building sustainable interfaces.
• Develop, maintain & monitor interfaces for different on-premise and cloud integration scenarios
• Evaluate new requirements in close collaboration with other teams (e.g. SAP Basis, Cyber Security)
• Bring in new ideas / solutions as well as focusing on existing code\'s quality (refactoring, restructuring & optimizing).
• Living end-to-end-responsibility, being able to adopt to new requirements and learning new technologies within a virtual global agile team (Scrum).

Education

• A university degree in the area of computer science or similar.

Work Experience

• At lease 3-5 years experience in at least one programming language: SAP ABAP (OO) OR Python, OR R OR C#,

Technical & Professional Knowledge -Mandatory

• Proficient in at least one programming language: SAP ABAP (OO), Python, R, C#, \xe2\x80\xa6
• Good knowledge & understanding of cloud-based solutions and integration scenarios connecting via Middleware ( e.g. Kafka, SAP CPI, SAP PI/PO..)
• Knowledge related to Web Services (REST, SOAP), Streaming technologies (Kafka) and/or API development
• Good understanding of security implications when setting up cloud-solutions
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Technical & Professional Knowledge - Nice to have skills

• Supply Chain Planning process knowledge
• Automated Testing
• Version Management (Git)
• Basic Understanding of Data Modelling / Data Science & Databases
• Experience with using Webservices in SAP environments (Proxy, Webservice, OData, \xe2\x80\xa6) & SAP CPI
