A medical device company in Malaysia is recruiting for a Supply Chain Supervisor job to join their supply chain operations team in the Central Region.

About the Supply Chain Supervisor Role:
Functionally and administratively reporting directly to the Supply Chain Lead, this role requires you to execute and manage the end-to-end supply chain operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for optimising inventory management within the business units and suggest improvement initiatives
• Manage customer service and order-handling tasks, including delivery and returns management
• Oversee inventory management, including consignment inventory, and align inventory plans with business objectives by analysing overall performance
• Handle supply chain activities for dealers/distributors under your supervision
• Collaborate with the commercial team to handle advance stock requests, consignment, and order fulfilment while maintaining service levels
• Address queries from dealers/distributors and ensure smooth order processing and billing
• Ensure timely billing for used and unbilled products to customers
• Work with service providers to ensure on-time and accurate product deliveries
• Optimise inventory holding by reducing slow-moving or non-moving inventory
• Coordinate the movement of capital equipment
• Collect customer feedback and propose customer-centric improvement actions
• Participate in Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) meetings to provide insights and contribute to planning
• Participate in local/regional projects focusing on supply chain process enhancements
• Provide support to the team in all customer service-related matters

To succeed in the Supply Chain Supervisor role, you will need to have a minimum of five years\' experience in the function of order fulfilment, customer service, and consignment inventory management.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of five years\' supply chain management experience, preferably in FMCG, medical equipment, or pharmaceuticals
• Experience in handling multiple stakeholders
• Performance-oriented, analytical, and sharp-minded
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong administrative and organisational abilities
• Demonstrates good leadership skills and works well as a team player
• Familiarity/literacy with SAP
• Bachelor\'s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a relevant field
• Proficient in English for business communication
• Good understanding of supply chain and operational activities, including planning, warehousing, distribution, inventory management, customer fulfilment, and import/export operations
• Proactive in recognising and handling complaints
• Adds value to business processes for internal and external customers
• Familiarity with basic analytical tools, such as spreadsheets and visualisation tools
• Strong problem-solving and presentation skills
• Customer-focused and able to work under pressure
