About the role

Supply Quality plays an important role in Kerry\'s ability to deliver quality that will satisfy our customer\'s needs and ensure that we supply the highest quality while also conforming to established requirements. Supply Quality Technologist plays a crucial role in supplier qualification process and risk assessment. The role will also involve in Communicating and implementing policies and procedures to ensure all tasks conform to the business needs, legislation and regulations applicable within the region and global customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensures regulatory, technical & food safety compliance of raw materials specifications
• Creation, update and management of raw material and packaging material specifications across all regions and ensure communication and sign off with suppliers
• Supports the implementation of Procurement\'s tenders & long-term solutions
• Works closely with internal stakeholders and external partners for execution of strategic initiatives
• Perform data management activities (data analysis, data clean-up, reporting) and identify areas for enhancements to improve data quality
• Supports the creation, update, and maintenance of specification database, enablement tools to ensure governance program are adhered to
• Contributes to horizon scanning of emerging food regulations, food safety, food fraud and provide recommendations to the organisation
• Develops and implements project plans, KPIs, dashboards and communicate to global and regional peers
• Develops and implements one way of working globally through creation of SOPs & change control per approved business process
• Identify opportunities to strengthen capabilities and process improvements
• Supports in defining and delivering training programs
• Leverages technical expertise in understanding and solving complex issues
• Support Supply Quality business initiatives & implementation of strategy which may include supporting functional structure
• May support Centre of Scale (CoS) initiatives with supplier & raw material risk assessment, supplier raw material relationship management and verification programme, as required

• Bachelor\'s degree in Sciences or related field
• 2-3 years experience in regulatory, quality or product development
• With an understanding of raw materials and raw material properties
• Knowledge on packaging material is an advantage
• Strong analytical, problem solving and complaint resolution skills
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams at multi levels within the organization
• Able to negotiate with suppliers and stakeholders to come to mutual agreements
• With a continuous improvement mindset
• Proficient in MS Office Products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Good command of verbal and written English
