We are looking for a passionate Support Services Analyst - Data & Automation who will be responsible to carry out the Procurement Support activities as per main responsibilities to ensure harmonious working relationship between group members, other teams and Procurements.

Purpose
Will assist to drive (through data management) the development and enhancement of the P2P process which promotes best practice procurement through building effective procurement planning, strategic procurement, and category management capability to achieve procurement excellence and cost savings.
Responsible for obtaining, analyzing, and maintaining procurement data and that it is continuously being monitored, analyzed, and reported. The goals are to keep track of the compliance of GPS Operation and other interrelated Departments and to also increase the rate of productivity by reducing bottlenecks, and drive improvement opportunities.

Reports to Support Services Specialist - Data Analytics & Automation
Coordinate with Vice President Procurement, Head of Procurement, Procurement Manager(s), Category Manager(s), and functional Managers
Works collaboratively across GPS Team, Vessels, Technical / Vessel Managers and WVA to analyze and process data to provide management and performance reports in the required formats to support the organisation's goals.

Main responsibilities and tasks
Responsibilities include collecting, extracting, organizing, validating, and analyzing diverse data from internal data e.g Bassnet, Tableau, Eyeshare, and external data sources, summarizing findings, and developing meaningful and actionable, reports and documents.
Develop and maintain dashboards to visualize data utilizing Power BI.
Present data to in easy to understand format
Collect and analyze data for departmental KPIs and produce as directed. For example
-Deliver Operational Procurement KPIs agreed with Head of Operational Procurement
-Deliver Operational KPI for GPS Support Team.
Conduct quality checks to ensure data presented is accurate and relevant
Work with colleagues and management to identify data problems and implement remedies as needed
Conduct a continuous review of reports and identify opportunities for improvements to minimize redundant reporting and development of a single source of truth where possible.
Deliver reports on time
Analyze large volumes of documents and use optimization techniques to generate greater efficiencies and / or improved quality of data extracted
Collaborate with Category Managers to identify vendor cost savings opportunities through spend analytics and support strategic sourcing initiatives.
Provide functional and category analytics both routinely and on an ad-hoc basis as required.

Ensure timely, accurate, and complete reporting on strategic plans, project status, and GPS KPIs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience in Procurement, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics.
Proficiency with data visualization tool such as Power BI
Excellent spoken and written communication skills
