Job Responsibilities

1. Monitor live and recorded CCTV footage to detect and prevent security breaches, theft, and unauthorized access.

2. Operate and maintain surveillance systems, including cameras, NVR, and access control systems.

3. Investigate and report security incidents, suspicious behaviour, and safety violations to the security manager or law enforcement when necessary.

4. Maintain detailed logs and reports of surveillance activities, security breaches, and incidents.

5. Collaborate with warehouse staff, security teams, and law enforcement to enhance overall security.

6. Conduct a site visit on security equipment functionality and procedure

7. Ensure compliance with company security policies, workplace safety regulations, and warehouse procedures.

8. Ensure that all incidents are reported and responded correctly and incident reports completed where required.

9. To ensure that all monitoring system, or server issues within the CCTV department are addressed in an appropriate and timely manner.

10. Respond to emergency situations such as fire alarms, break-ins, or unauthorized entries.

11. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying internal and external theft risks.

12. Test and troubleshoot CCTV equipment and security systems regularly to ensure functionality.

13. Prepare reports and regularly updates to Head of Department.

14. Any ad-hoc task assigned by management from time to time.

Education & Qualification

Diploma & above

Computer & IT literate

Must be able to communicate (read and write) in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Knowledge of Mandarin is an added advantage.

Relevant Experience & Years of Service

Candidate with security, law enforcement, retail experience or a related field is advantageous.

Technical Skills, Professional Knowledge & Competencies

Willing to work outstation

Possess own transport

Strong observational and communication skills.

Experience in technical systems and excellent verbal communication skills

Maintain and practice a high degree of confidentiality at all times

Have the IT skills and the ability to understand and use varied CCTV systems and platforms.

Good analytical, problem-solving skills and able to organize multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
