Duties and Responsibilities The Local Field Coordinator is expected to: Lead the coordination work and assist with project development at the project site Prepare and ensure project site documentation and reporting are in an orderly and timely manner. Report and assist financial and procurement management at project site. Perform other duties required by the office. Qualifications Minimum Education Requirements Secondary Education (High school diploma) is required. University level degree (Bachelor\'s degree) in social sciences, sustainable development, development economics, or environment management, will be given due consideration but is not a requirement. Minimum Years of Relevant Work Experience Minimum 6 years (with Secondary Education) or 3 years (with Bachelor\'s degree) of relevant experience working in various aspects of project administration preferably in sustainable tourism with a focus on youth empowerment, gender issues, environment and/or social entrepreneurship. Required Skills Experience in undertaking roles relating to project assistant would be an asset; Familiarity with UNDP/UN internal processes and procedures would be an asset; Desired Skills (in addition to the covered in the Competencies section) Demonstrated experience with organization of travel, events, conferences, and high-level meetings is highly desirable. Knowledge of travel/ administration/procurement/HR rules and regulations for international development organizations is highly desirable. Experience with ERP systems, such as Quantum/PeopleSoft/Oracle/Siebel is desirable. Excellent communications skills, ability work in a multi-cultural teams and client orientation is highly desirable. Required Language(s) : Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia written and spoken. Location Must be able to work in Setiu, Terrengganu, Malaysia. Deadline: 31 August 2023
