A successful and growing investment bank, part of a well-known financial group is seeking a high-calibre SVP Client Coverage (Johor). In this job, you will join their business in their southern region office in Johor Bahru. About the SVP Client Coverage (Johor) Role:
Reporting to the Head of Client Coverage, Private Sector, you are responsible for expanding and growing the Group Wholesale Banking\xe2\x80\x99s southern portfolio. Key Responsibilities:

• Expand Corporate, Commercial and Client Coverage businesses in the assigned region to expand GWB\xe2\x80\x99s regional coverage aim at penetrating and acquiring new customers, deepening relationship and share of wallet and cross selling of products to achieve profitability target on PBT and RAROC
• Coordinate and drive GWB\xe2\x80\x99s various business units in the region to develop and implement business development plans for the region, supporting Head, Commercial Banking, Head Group Corporate Banking and Head, Client Coverage in achieving division objectives and thereon, Group Wholesale Banking objectives at large
• Deliver holistic solutions and excellent service to customers in the southern region

To succeed in this role, one must have at least 10 years of experience in Financial Services at an established financial institution with exposure to credit risk management and commercial/corporate including credit processing, evaluation, and appraisal. Key Requirements:

• Degree/MBA/Professional qualifications in Business, Accounting, Banking, Finance, Economics, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or other related disciplines
• Understands the Group Wholesale Banking\xe2\x80\x99s strategic objectives, business model and local commercial market landscape
• Strong client-facing and leadership skills with the capability to deliver high-calibre client service functions and solutions driven to support the Group\xe2\x80\x99s regional businesses
• Able to work independent as well as in a team
• Malaysian citizen from southern region is preferred
