Job Description

A candidate for this position must be able to perform the following responsibilities:

1. Analysing functional issues, identifying root causes, and proposing effective solutions.

2. Performing system analysis, documentation, testing, and implementation to maintain and improve computer systems.

3. Managing problem requests and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

4. Acting as custodian for APIs and web services, ensuring proper functionality and integration.

5. Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new projects and conducting regression testing for technical activities.

6. Planning and implementing application improvements through system analysis and enhancements.

7. Developing process flow diagrams and other documentation to describe logical operational steps.

8. Collaborating with management to drive strategy and implement process improvements.

9. Optimising core processes to enhance business performance and operational agility.

10. Gathering requirements and performing gap analysis through workshops with users.

11. Providing client and user support on system operations and troubleshooting.

12. Being available for standby/on-call duty to address urgent issues outside normal working hours.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. 5-7 years of IT work experience, including at least 3 years in system support within a .NET environment as a System Analyst or similar role. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Experience in API/web service management and testing processes. Knowledge of UAT and regression testing methodologies. Good communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams. Willingness to work on standby/on-call when required. Familiarity with XML/web services, Microsoft Excel, and database querying (e.g., Microsoft SQL Database).

Advantages

Experience in .NET project and operational support for .NET systems (portal, mobile apps). Strong technical skills in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and Sitecore.
