Job Description

We are seeking a System Analyst specializing in Peoplesoft Campus Solutions to join a team within the Technology & Telecoms industry. This role requires expertise in analyzing, designing, and implementing efficient system solutions to support organizational needs.

• Partner with academic, administrative, and IT teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements for admissions, academic records, curriculum, student financials, and related modules.
• Convert business requirements into functional specifications and collaborate with developers, architects, and QA teams.
• Perform gap analyses between current workflows and target system capabilities.
• Support the design and validation of business processes, configuration options, and reporting needs.
• Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test case creation, defect tracking, and resolution.
• Contribute to data migration planning, integration specifications, and end-user documentation.
• Assist with change management, training, and post-go-live support activities.

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in business analysis or functional consulting, preferably in higher education or the public sector.
• Hands-on experience with student information systems such as PeopleSoft Campus Solutions or Banner is highly desirable.

Technical & Functional Skills

• Strong understanding of academic structures, student lifecycle processes, and institutional reporting.
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodologies, and project management practices.
• Skilled in creating business/functional requirement documents, process flows, and gap analysis reports.
• Proficient with tools like SQL, Excel, JIRA, and collaboration platforms.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams and building stakeholder consensus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in ERP/SIS upgrades or implementation projects.
• Background in higher education or government/public sector environments.
• Exposure to middleware integration or analytics tools is a plus.
