Bachelor's degree in IT/computer science/computer engineering or equivalent
Preferably tertiary qualification in Computer Studies.
Minimum 2- 5 years in application development or management
Strong background in managing end to end IT projects, from understanding business processes and gathering requirements to system design and implementation.
Proven experience in leading system integration projects, including integrating disparate systems, applications, and data sources.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and translate technical solutions to meet business users' requirements.
Project Management Certification (PMMI, PRINCE, SAFE Agile, Scrum Master) would be desirable
Well versed with MS Office and can write reports, business correspondences and prepare presentations.
Skilled in stakeholder management, building and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external vendors.
A team player who prioritizes tasks and meets deadlines consistently
Experience working in or with financial institutions would be an advantage
Basic to intermediate understanding of insurance application systems, especially PAS components.
Good grasp of integration flows
Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and issue tracking software (JIRA)
Strong cross system analytical and troubleshooting ability
Organized and detail oriented with good time and task management
Clear written and verbal communication, comfortable explaining to non-technical users
Collaborative and responsive to team direction and business needs
Skilled in developing creative, practical solutions to overcome integration challenges and enhancing product capabilities
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize the most critical tasks and projects
