Job Description

1) Job Scope A systems analyst designs new IT solutions, modify, enhance or adapt existing systems and integrate new features or improvements, all with the aim of improving business efficiency and productivity. He/she implements systems by understanding business/users requirements from defining and analyzing system problems; designing and testing standards and solutions. They must possess a high level of technical expertise and clear insights into current business practices. Depending on the employer, clients may be internal, e.g. departments within the same organisation, or external. 2) Responsibilities Examine existing IT systems and business models. Analyse systems requirements. Undertake product development. Implement, configure and test feasible solutions maintaining systems by monitoring and correcting software defects. Working closely with other staff, such as project managers, designers, other developers, systems analysts and solution team. Consulting clients and colleagues concerning the maintenance and performance of software systems with a view to writing or modifying current systems. Continually updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications. 3) Experience At least 2 year experience in system and database design and technical document writing. Good knowledge in RDBMS and proficient in SQL scripts Good knowledge in Java programming and mobile apps. 4) Deliverables System Design Specification.
