Working closely with senior operators and cross-functional engineering teams, this role ensures that compute trays, interconnects, and supporting infrastructure function as a reliable, optimized system. The engineer will play a key role in assembly, burn-in, firmware integration, and system validation, while also contributing to the development of in-house rack system design capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Define and maintain system architecture for
NVL72 racks
, including tray configuration, interconnect topology, and power/cooling alignment.
Lead and support senior operators in
rack assembly, tray installation, cable routing
, and
firmware integration
.
Collaborate with suppliers and OEM partners to ensure
module compatibility
and seamless
system integration
.
Oversee
burn-in testing
and
firmware validation
to ensure system stability, reliability, and compliance.
Troubleshoot and resolve
hardware and firmware integration issues
, escalating to vendors when necessary.
Develop and maintain comprehensive
system configuration documents
, integration steps, and validation procedures.
Provide technical feedback to
NPI
and
Quality Engineering
teams to drive continuous improvement.
Contribute to the development of
system-level SOPs
, documentation, and
training materials
for operators.
Support long-term capability building for
in-house rack system design
, including process development and standardization.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in
Computer Engineering
,
Electrical Engineering
, or a related technical field.
Experience:
Minimum
3-5 years
of experience in
system integration
,
server/rack design
, or
data center hardware engineering
.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of
rack-level architecture
-- compute, networking, power, and cooling systems.
Hands-on experience in
firmware/BIOS integration

system-level testing

Familiarity with
NVL72
or equivalent
hyperscale rack systems
