ResponsibilitiesThe System Support and Analyst performs a wide range of duties including the following:
Provide first and second tier support for operations systems (primarily AIMS). Report any identified system issues to the vendors through bug documents. The issue needs to
be clearly identified including replication steps and screenshots to add detail. Priority to be
determined and agreed. Track the bug until a patch for the issue is received, tested and
implemented in production.
Provide systems administration tasks sure as adding new users and defining access rights. Follow the Change Management process, to ensure any changes made to the system are
recorded and planned effectively. Changes must satisfy the business need(s) and be released to
production in a timely and managed manner.
Work with the business and ICT Business Analyst to identify clear system requirements for new
functionality and systems interfaces, to meet the needs of the airline.
Manage and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Includes: the preparation of test plans,
organisation of UAT and final sign-off of bug fixes and enhancements. Be the primary source of operations system expertise and knowledge for the Airline (Subject
Matter Expert). Accountable for the collection, collation and dissemination of information and
documentation relating to systems.
Identify conduct and manage training programes to meet the needs of Users and Crew. Ensure
training documentation and User Guides are kept updated as new functionality is added.
Work with ICT to establish and test the disaster recovery plan to provide system environment
redundancy and fail over options. Provide recommendations as to what data should be
maintained to cover the business in case of outage.
Provide data and reporting capability to the business. Includes creating and running SQL scripts
to query the database.Your Merits Fluent in Microsoft Office Programs and Google software
Proficient in oral and written English
Ability to gather and write clear requirements (technical writing skills)
High school education level as a minimum
Background in Airline Operations, Systems or IT

SQL scripting/report extraction knowledge and experience preferred
