Your tasks

• \xe2\x80\xa2 To carry out system design and engineering which includes: a) Understanding customer needs or specific tender requirements before the system design. b) Investigate alternatives. Alternatives are investigated and evaluated based on performance, cost and risk. c) Model the system. Running models clarifies requirements, reveals bottlenecks and fragmented activities, reduces cost and exposes duplication of efforts. d) Integrate. Integration means designing interfaces and bringing system elements together so they work as a whole. This requires extensive communication and coordination. e) Launch the system. Launching the system means running the system and producing outputs i.e., making the system do what it was intended to do. f) Assess performance. Performance is assessed using evaluation criteria & technical performance measures for improvement. g) Re-evaluation. Re-evaluation should be a continual and iterative process with many parallel loops. h) To provide the respective Managers with the finalized System Design of the R&S equipment and 3rd party equipment inclusive of block diagram, wiring and software configuration prior to implementation at site. i) To identify & purchase third party products required and to verify & validate the work carry out by other team members is accordance to the agreed System Design & Engineering j) To support Project Team in carrying antenna system commissioning (VSWR & DTF test) k) To support Project Team in carrying STW (Setting to Work) l) To recommend to the respective Managers on SAT protocol and checklist m) To carry out SAT (Site Acceptance Test) with Project Team. n) To support R&S Principal in carrying out trainings o) To update as-built drawings / diagram / configuration of system p) Providing application support and technical expertise to the customers for R&S products q) Assist in designing system solutions and providing Sales with systems solutions to customers r) Prepare the system integration solutions demonstration and testing of the radio systems s) Prepare specification of the radio system t) Coordination of relevant product presentation u) Deliver technical expertise for solutions and implementations v) Knowledgeable of the competition and ability to identify Rohde & Schwarz competitive advantage over competition x) Any other duties assigned to you from time to time

Your qualifications

• \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor Degree/Advanced Diploma in Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronic Engineering \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum 5 years\' experience in either broadcasting, radio communications, systems integration or equivalent \xe2\x80\xa2 must have basic understanding of electrical and electronics \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge in Computer Programming Language is an added advantage \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess own transport...
