INCREMENT Responsibilities
-sew samples to be presented to high management
-sew stocks for production (small qty) \xe2\x80\x93 when necessary
-Creating garments according to design specifications and preferences.
-Attaching bodice pieces cut by cutter into desired design
-Discuss with the designers on alterations and repairing garments as per their requirements \xe2\x80\x93 to take full responsibility on getting alterations done within time frame
-Fitting garments on models
-Taking accurate measurements and make necessary calculations \xe2\x80\x93 as per requirements
-Produce pattern-have a basic cutting knowledge to help out with cutting when necessary
-Staying up to date with the various garment design ideas and latest trends.
-Able to advise on best usage of fabric
-Able to take accurate body measurements and/or follow size charts given
-To train junior tailors and give guidance on sewing techniques
-Able to understand design from sketch work and translate into actual garment
-attention to detail Requirements
-5 years + working experience as senior tailor in a fashion house.
-Advance sewing skills \xe2\x80\x93 as per designer\xe2\x80\x99s requirements
-understand proper measurements and sizing
-good communication skill
-positive, can- do attitude
-fast paced (minimum 4 piece per day)
-ability to meet multiple deadlines Job Type: Full-time Salary: RM1,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month Benefits:
