You will be a trusted advisor for the people managers, supporting them to navigate all people matters across the business. Working to get the best from every member of the team. Demonstrating good HR Business Partnering skills even when under considerable pressure. Building a solid understanding of the GroupM transformational talent requirements as well as its initiatives and policies. Giving clear, considered, and concise advice on HR issues and demonstrating strong stakeholder management skills across all levels of seniority. In six months you will be: Building trusted relationships with the agencies, having built credibility as a reliable, responsive, trusted advisor. Thoroughly understanding the structure, roles and responsibilities within GroupM and where they are best situated. Translating business strategies and objectives into organization capability and talent requirements. Responsibilities of the role Partner with people managers and the leadership team in understanding their business needs and deliver targeted HR solutions such as workforce planning, talent assessment, learning and development, leadership development, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations and employee engagement etc. Proactively assess team, manager, and organizational development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions (to improve organizational effectiveness). Manage and facilitate the Performance Review processes and employee check in surveys throughout the employee lifecycle. Integrate and partner with People team colleagues in Talent Acquisition and People Operations teams to implement solutions that scale the business. Partner closely with regional Agency People leads on regional/global strategy and execution. Ensure HR policies are in line with local legislation and global and regional WPP/GroupM policies. Be the change agent and drive the HR and business transformation journey. What you will need Min 5+ years of relevant HR experience with strong focus on HR business partnering. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to influence at all levels of an organization. Project management skills in driving organizational change, along with a growth mindset Demonstrated coaching, mentoring, counselling skills. Ability to understand the business, the business challenges and be solutions focused. Resilience to thrive in matrix, high paced environment where priorities are constantly shifting. Ability to build pride across the group being the biggest and most agile network agency group. Strong working knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements in Malaysia.
