This position requires a passion for direct and indirect tax compliance.THE PERSON:We are searching for an individual who is passionate about tax compliance and provision and is eager to continue learning, developing and progressing in corporate income tax environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support direct and indirect tax returns, quarterly provisions and tax payments.
• Track yearly and quarterly revenue and expenses for tax return preparation.
• Analyze workpapers containing accounting and tax information to ensure accuracy and ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Meet strict deadlines to avoid late fees and penalties.
• Stay current with changes in tax laws.
• Maintain comprehensive tax records and financial data for audits.
• Provide support for tax audits and prepare responses to inquiries from tax authorities.
• Assist with international tax tasks and projects as needed.
• Supports ad-hoc tasks as required.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• 2 - 4 years of tax or accounting experience in Big 4 or Multinational Companies is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to effectively gather, assess, and analyze financial and tax information.
• Strong oral and written communication skills along with strong organization and documentation skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule as required to collaborate closely with colleagues in different time zones.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Self-motivated, resourceful and results oriented.
• SAP/ other ERP system knowledge is an added advantage.
• Experience in a using a tax provision software i.e. OneSource Tax provision (OTP) software, is a plus.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Degree in Accountancy/ACCA or any equivalent accounting professional qualification.
