Internship Role Overview:
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
Tax Intern
to join our team. This internship is ideal for students seeking hands-on experience in tax processes and exposure to real client cases in a professional setting.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Manage the entire process of preparing and submitting tax computations for business and individual clients.
Manage communication with the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) and relevant government agencies to address and resolve tax disputes.
Manage the accurate filing and careful preservation of all tax documents and records.
Assist in the efficient management and maintenance of the tax database.
Assist the Tax Manager with ad-hoc projects and other duties as needed.
What We're Looking For:
Currently enrolled in a Degree program in Accountancy, Taxation, or a related field.
A good understanding of the Malaysian Income Tax Act is required.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Mandarin proficiency is a distinct advantage, as the role requires communication with clients.
Possesses strong organizational skills and pays close attention to detail.
