Internship Role Overview:
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
Tax Intern
to join our team. This internship is ideal for students seeking hands-on experience in tax processes and exposure to real client cases in a professional setting.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Handle the complete process for preparing and submitting tax computations for business and individual clients.
Coordinate all communication with the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) and relevant government agencies for the purpose of addressing and resolving tax disputes.
Handle the proper filing and safekeeping of all tax documents and records.
Help ensure the tax database is efficiently managed and maintained.
Handle ad-hoc projects and various other duties for the Tax Manager as necessary.
What We're Looking For:
Currently enrolled in a Degree program in Accountancy, Taxation, or a related field.
A good understanding of the Malaysian Income Tax Act is required.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Mandarin proficiency is a distinct advantage, as the role requires communication with clients.
Possesses strong organizational skills and pays close attention to detail.
